The Living Values Activities curriculum is
written for educators and other adults working
with children who are concerned about an increasingly
violent world and a lack of respect for others.
Already a success in more than 1,000 locations
worldwide, Living Values Education offers age-appropriate
activities that promote self-esteem, critical
thinking, emotional intelligence, and creative
expression-the necessary wellspring of skills
that will enable children to respond positively
to an ever-changing and diverse society. This
Living Values Activities book includes:

Goals, objectives and detailed lesson
plans for ages 8-14 that explore twelve

Honesty, Humility, Cooperation, Happiness,
Responsibility, Simplicity, Unity, and
Freedom.
-
Lessons that encourage skill-building
for both left- and right-brain thinkers,
include reflecting, imagining, mind mapping,
writing, singing, role playing, artistic
expression and discussion.
-
Child-tested exercises submitted by successful
educators.
-
Tips to incorporate the program into a
curriculum with time and budget constraints.

Whether you are teacher, counselor, scout
leader, youth director or a concerned parent,
equipping the young people of today with social
skills and allowing them to explore core values
will help them develop their potential, and
